Mac Jones has done all the right things before his second season as an NFL starting quarterback.
He arrived at organized team activities (OTAs) much leaner and stronger for the Patriots. Jones has brought more accuracy, velocity, and communication to the offense, but his leadership has the attention of his teammates. According to a report from New England Sports Network (NESN), Jones could be voted as a team captain this season. He has dominated OTAs with precision on deep balls, short/intermediate routes, timing patterns, and accurately fitting passes to receivers in tight spaces.
Jones brings fun and flair, but he knows when to be direct and serious.
