Los Angeles Rams looking to Mark Barron for linebacker leadership

The Los Angeles Rams won the NFC West last season to earn their first playoff appearance since 2004 with the NFL's top-scoring offense and 19th-ranked defense. In their efforts to take another step toward the Super Bowl in 2018, the Rams stocked up on star power defensively in the offseason.

Cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib came aboard in trades, and defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh signed on as a free agent. In their combined 21 NFL seasons, the three players have earned first-team All-Pro recognition five times and received 12 Pro Bowl invitations.

But star players don't come cheap, and the Rams had to clear salary-cap space to make the additions.
