On the penultimate day of summer, it was 90 degrees in Tuscaloosa as Alabama continued to prepare for its matchup Saturday against Vanderbilt.
The Crimson Tide was in full pads Wednesday as the team worked out in the heat. Here are some observations gleaned from the limited access period provided to the media:
-- Three linebackers who didn't play Saturday against Colorado State -- Anfernee Jennings (ankle), Dylan Moses (concussion) and Rashaan Evans (groin) -- all were spotted participating in drills Wednesday.
-- Alabama lined up in its "Dime Rabbits" package. Parked near the line of scrimmage were Da'Shawn Hand, Isaiah Buggs, Da'Ron Payne, Markail Benton and Mack Wilson.
