Robinson got ejected on the next-to-last snap with the Steelers running out the clock on their 20-15 victory.
After the game, Pittsburgh center Maurkice Pouncey said Robinson and Detroit's other defensive tackle, Akeem Spence, violated an unwritten rule of football by firing off on the snap when the Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was taking a knee.
