Detroit Lions’ head coach, Dan Campbell is proud of third-year wide receiver, Jameson Williams, and it isn’t just because of his stats.
Despite recording career-highs in all receiving categories with 58 receptions for 1,001 yards and seven scores, Campbell is more impressed by the mental growth of Williams as person, player and teammate. Campbell made this apparent Thursday when speaking to reporters, just two days before the Lions’ playoff opener against the Washington Commanders.
“I got a lot of pride with him man,” Campbell said. “He’s one of those guys man, I love that kid, because he’s had to endure a lot.
