There is no nice way to say it: LSU got its butt kicked by Alabama and now just about everybody has the Crimson Tide already in the playoffs. But LSU coach Les Miles said it would be a mistake to write off his Tigers, No. 9 in the latest CFP rankings, before all of the games are played.
LSU (7-1 overall, 4-1 in the SEC) has games remaining with Arkansas on Saturday, at Ole Miss on Nov. 21 and at home with Texas A&M on Nov. 28. If LSU wins them all and Alabama drops one of its final two SEC games — at Mississippi State and at Auburn — LSU would win the division.
