2021 defensive tackle, Lee Hunter, is keeping all of his options open despite being verbally committed to the Auburn Tigers.
Hunter is a product of Blount High School in Eight Mile, Alabama. The rising senior garners a 4-Star rating from most recruiting sites. The Tide offered Hunter in October, two months before he announced his verbal commitment to the Tigers in December.
Alabama had great success with signing in-state recruits, who were once committed to the Tigers in the 2020 recruiting cycle. Alabama 2020 signees, Quandarrius Robinson, Demouy Kennedy and Javion Cohen, were Auburn pledges before de-committing from the Tigers and eventually choosing the Tide.
