Since watching Jalen Hurts lift Alabama to a 35-28 win over Georgia in the Southeastern Conference title game, Tua Tagovailoa has had surgery on his ankle and is starting his process toward recovery.
According to head coach Nick Saban, he said following the game that Tagovailoa would have his ankle “scoped by the team doctors and it would be a two-week ordeal.” Despite the injury not being too severe and the sophomore not having the same type of procedure that Hurts encountered earlier this season, there still lies the thought on whether Tagovailoa will be ready to start in the College Football Playoff semifinal versus Oklahoma.
