During the 2015 NFL season, former Alabama All-American Landon Collins became the first rookie safety to start every game in New York Giants' history.
Collins almost was part of another historic performance last year – historically bad, that is. The Giants came within 13 passing yards of the 2011 Green Bay Packers' record for the most given up by an NFL defense in one season, and only two teams in league history – the 2012 New Orleans Saints and 1981 Baltimore Colts – have yielded more total yards than the 6,725 gained against New York in 2015.
