Alabama football has its third alumnus heading to the NFL Scouting Combine.
LaBryan Ray, a former defensive end, joins Slade Bolden and Josh Jobe in accepting an invitation.
He announced via Instagram his decision to participate in the event at Lucas Oil Stadium. Ray, a native of Madison, Ala., arrived in the Crimson Tide’s 2017 signing class as a five-star. Injuries prevented him from having a dominant career, but Ray did win three SEC Championships (2018, 2020, 2021) and two College Football Playoff National Championships (2017, 2020).
He could help his value some with strong performances at the East-West Shrine Bowl and Combine.
