Alabama running back Kenyan Drake’s kick-return touchdown in the national championship game against Clemson won’t be forgotten for numerous reasons. A painting is one of them.
Sports artist Daniel Moore has completed a painting of Drake’s dive into the end zone that capped off his crucial 95-yard kick-return score in the fourth quarter of January’s title-game victory.
Moore revealed the finished product via his Twitter account. He originally announced that he was working on the now-iconic play when he shared a pencil drawing of it in February.
