Running back Kenyan Drake made "one of the best plays I've ever seen" on Sunday, Miami Dolphins coach Adam Gase said.
Did the former Alabama standout break a big-gainer on the ground? Turn a short pass into a long-distance TD? Take a kickoff back all the way?
Nope. Drake got a first down on a screen pass.
What made the play memorable came before Drake caught the ball. Coming out of the backfield, the running back had to chip Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carl Lawson. The former Auburn standout led the NFL's rookies in sacks last season, and Drake had to help the left tackle keep Lawson away from quarterback Ryan Tannehill before getting into his pass pattern.
