Kenny Stabler has passed away at the age of 69

Former University of Alabama quarterback and Oakland Raiders great Kenny Stabler has passed away at the age of 69, The Tuscaloosa News has learned.

From Foley, where he starred at Foley High School, Stabler played for three seasons (1965-67) under legendary Alabama coach Paul W. "Bear" Bryant before becoming a second-round selection in the 1968 NFL Draft by Oakland.

Stabler led the Raiders to the 1977 Super Bowl title. He was a four-time Pro Bowl selection.
