The SEC, specifically the state of Alabama, will be well represented Saturday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony in Canton, Ohio.
Former Alabama quarterback Ken Stabler and former Auburn linebacker Kevin Greene are both set to be inducted as a part of the eight-member 2016 class.
Greene will become just the second Auburn player to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, joining center Frank Gatski who played 12 NFL seasons (11 with the Cleveland Browns, one with the Detroit Lions) from 1946-57.
Greene played only two seasons with the Tigers from 1983-84 and started only four games after joining the team as a walk-on.
