Karyla Middlebrook will transfer to Kansas State

The University of Alabama women’s basketball team knew it was losing its starting point guard Karyla Middlebrook to transfer. On Monday, Kansas State coach Jeff Mittie announced Middlebrook’s name will appear on the Wildcats’ 2016-17 roster.

“We are excited to add Karyla to our 2016 recruiting class,” Mittie said in a statement posted on the KSU athletics’ website. “She is a terrific student-athlete that possesses the skills, experience, and leadership qualities that we were looking for. This 2016 recruiting class has been recognized nationally and it gets even stronger with the addition of an outstanding player like Karyla.
