ICYMI: Why Dismissed Alabama Football OT Isn’t a Big Deal
Possibly the worst kept secret in Tuscaloosa is now official. The school announced on Thursday the hiring of Karl Dunbar to take over the defensive line position that was left vacant with the resignation of Bo Davis due to recruiting infractions.
Andrew Bone confirmed the hire had been made official a few days ago when a new Twitter account for Dunbar popped into everyone’s feed.
“We have known Karl Dunbar for a long time and he has a lot of experience coaching the defensive line in both the NFL and college,” Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said in a statement Thursday evening per BamaOnline.
