Kansas City Chiefs awaiting Reggie Ragland's 2018 debut

When Kansas City plays the Chicago Bears on Saturday, Chiefs inside linebacker Reggie Ragland could be on the field for the first time this preseason. If not, then the former Alabama All-American probably won't play until Kansas City opens the regular season against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sept. 9.

"That's the plan," Ragland said when asked about playing on Saturday during a Wednesday press conference. "But right now, going to take it day by day. Hopefully, I'll be ready to go. But if not, Week 1. ...

"For the most part, of course, I'm itching to get out there and hit somebody.
