Alabama football players feel they can play freely within Kane Wommack’s defense.
The Crimson Tide’s defense had a shutout performance in their season-opening win over the Hilltoppers. They forced two turnovers in the dominant performance. Keon Sabb was responsible for both turnovers as he finished the game with two interceptions.
The Michigan transfer feels the Tide’s defensive system allows him and his teammates to be a playmaker.
“With this defense, we get so much freedom,” Sabb said. “He allows me to be the playmaker I am and for really all the guys is putting us positions to be able to be free and be athletes and do what we do best to make plays.
