Kalen DeBoer, Alabama’s head football coach, tackled this question on the GoJo and Golic podcast. He believes the video game is more than just for fun. Crimson Tide players enjoy competing against each other in the game, yet it also preparing them in practice with different play calls. DeBoer said the game is helping his players with read progressions on the field.
