Alabama football’s quarterback competition is officially underway with the Crimson Tide starting spring practice on Monday.
Ty Simpson, Austin Mack and Keelon Russell will have an opportunity to separate themselves over the next month or so.
Kalen DeBoer detailed what the Crimson Tide’s next starting quarterback will have to be able to do during his Monday press conference.
“It’s got to be a guy that can deliver the ball, command the huddle, command everything we do with the team,” DeBoer said. “Just that presence and that belief and confidence in your signal caller. It starts with a lot of that, just the belief.
