Fresno State will be entering a new era sooner than expected as head coach Jeff Tedford announced on Monday that he will be stepping down due to health concerns.
Tedford was the former boss of new Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer who worked on his staff at Fresno State serving as the team’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2017-18.
Shortly after the announcement, DeBoer shared what Tedford has meant to his career during a post to X.
“Blessed to spend 2 amazing years with Coach Tedford and felt I learned from him everyday,” DeBoer said.
