Kalen DeBoer explains why Elijah Pritchett subbed in game late vs. USF

Elijah Pritchett made his way onto the field in the fourth quarter for Alabama at right tackle against USF and was on the field for three of the Tide’s fourth-quarter scores.

Pritchett started at left tackle in Alabama’s win over Western Kentucky. Kalen DeBoer said the Georgia native was a little bit banged up following the Tide’s win over the Hilltoppers. This prompted the Tide to start Tyler Booker at left tackle, Geno VanDeMark at left guard, Parker Brailford at center, Jaeden Roberts at right guard and Wilkin Formby at right tackle against USF.

Penalties and lack of production on offense allowed Pritchett to get on the field at right tackle in the fourth quarter.
