Ryan Williams was heavily targeted in Alabama football’s loss to Tennessee.
Williams finished the game 73 yards and one touchdown on eight receptions. He was targeted 20 times throughout the game. A reporter asked DeBoer does he feels Alabama was too reliant on Williams, and DeBoer said no.
“I think that some of them, there is an intentional element to making sure he’s part of the gameplan,” DeBoer said. “And then some of it was just the progressions and where it ended up. You We just had a couple misses. We hit one or two of those, interception early in the game.
