Happy Friday, everyone. As you know, Tua Tagovailoa spoke with media yesterday and didn’t say much.
“I had a concussion at the same time when I was on the ground. I think my body was just in such a traumatic state that I couldn’t really feel too much. I just know that, well from what I could remember, with every little movement I made on the ground, I was hurting. That’s all I can remember.”
The concussion would explain why he was originally stood up to be helped off the field. The on-field medical team was unaware of his hip pain when they stood him up and when it was clear the injury was more significant than a broken nose and concussion, the cart was called over.
