Biggest note of the weekend came from John Petty, who did a video interview with Huntsville sports reporter Charity Chambers. The video won’t allow embed but is available at the link, and most notable to Alabama fans is that he says he will “probably” be at Alabama another year “depending on how things go.” It definitely seems that this is more an exploratory move by John than anything else. That isn’t to say that he won’t jump if he feels that his stock is high enough, but what a team Nate Oats would be fielding next season if he did return.
