For years, Nick Saban's talked about the relationship between pass rush and the ultimate goal.

"It's always great to get sacks," he said Saturday after beating Texas A&M. "They don't really affect winning that much unless you get off the field on third down because you caused long-yardage situation or you created a long-yardage situation."
