After not spending their massive amount of cap space on a running back and not signing Jay Ajayi after hosting him. The Indianapolis Colts brought in Alabama running back Josh Jacobs for the day.
General manager Chris Ballard has already done a great job drafting young talent who can contribute right away. Whether it is solidifying the offensive line with Quenton Nelson and Braden Smith. Or drafting the face of the defense for the next 10 years in Darius Leonard. Throwing Jacobs to the mix will only add to the myriad of young talent on the roster.
What should be very enticing about drafting Jacobs, other than his ability to catch out of the backfield, is the lack of tread on his tires.
