HOOVER | University of Florida head coach Jim McElwain took the podium Monday at SEC Media Days with confidence that his experience in the SEC will be beneficial to success with the Gators, but he knows that turning a program around in this league does not happen overnight.
McElwain said his players have done fine with the transition of him taking the job.
“There were some good things in place,” McElwain said. “Coach (Will) Muschamp and his staff did some really good things and obviously set the table and we are just going to pick up from that and move forward.
