After it was reported late Tuesday, former Alabama tight ends coach and special teams coordinator Jay Graham provided a statement on his departure from the team.
In his statement, Graham highlighted that he will be stepping away from football to address his own mental health concerns.
“I appreciate Coach Saban and the University of Alabama for their understanding and support through this difficult time,” read Graham’s post online. “The events of the past year have taken a toll on millions of people around the world, not only in lost loved ones or lost jobs but in the unprecedented anxieties and mental health.
