Alabama’s newest offensive lineman commit, Javion Cohen, publicly announced he flipped his commitment to Alabama on Wednesday due to reports made by Auburn football insiders.
The 4-Star recruit was originally set to announce his decision on Dec. 18, which is the first day of the early signing period. Cohen informed Auburn of his decision last weekend but wanted to wait until National Signing Day to announce his decision, but reports of Auburn pulling his scholarship forced him to announce earlier than he had wanted to.
“Auburn had released that my scholarship was pulled so I just went ahead and came public,” Cohen said.
