Jalyn Armour-Davis and Phidarian Mathis tested well at NFL Scouting Combine

Christian Harris carried the flag for Alabama’s defensive alums at the NFL Scouting Combine, but two others also tested well.

Jalyn Armour-Davis arrived to Tuscaloosa in the 2018 signing class. A native of Mobile, Ala., he made the most of his one season as a starting cornerback in 2021. Armour-Davis missed four games because of injury, but he totaled 32 tackles, four pass breakups, and shared a team-high three interceptions. He was the Crimson Tide’s most consistent corner before a hip injury.

Armour-Davis had a track and field background in his school.
