Jalston Fowler returns to NFL as practice-squad member

Waived by the Tennessee Titans on Saturday, fullback Jalston Fowler returned to an NFL roster -- although as a practice-squad member -- on Tuesday.

The Seattle Seahawks announced they had signed Fowler for their practice squad. Each NFL team has a practice squad of as many as 10 players who can practice with the team but cannot play in games.

The Seahawks have not had a fullback on their 53-player active roster since Tre Madden went on injured reserve on Nov. 7. Mainly a special-teams player, Madden played 67 snaps with Seattle's offense in eight games.
