The motion picture script for Jalen Hurts keeps getting better.
He has lifted two different teams in two different conferences under two different coaches to a conference championship, with his latest one coming on Saturday. A native of Houston, Texas, Hurts shared a hug and a smile with Sooners’ coach, Lincoln Riley as he led Oklahoma to a 30-23 overtime win over Baylor in the Big 12 Championship Game.
He completed 17 of 24 passes for 287 yards with one touchdown to one interception. Hurts and CeeDee Lamb continue to be a dominant tandem, as the playmaker at wide receiver brought in eight catches for 173 yards.
