Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa are storylines in joint practices between the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins.
Both have individual goals and team goals for this season, but the former Alabama football teammates want to see each other have success in the National Football League. Tagovailoa came off the bench as a freshman in the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship Game to help Hurts and the Crimson Tide win a national championship over Georgia. Hurts returned the favor in the 2018 Southeastern Championship Game. He replaced an injured Tagovailoa and led Alabama to a 35-28 victory.
According to Cameron Wolfe, a National NFL reporter for NFL Network, Hurts said he and Tagovailoa ‘want to see each other win.
