Jalen Farmer decided to stick with his verbal commitment to the Florida Gators Wednesday despite a late push from Alabama.
Farmer is a product of Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia. The Crimson Tide made a late push for him this month as they offered him on Jan. 27 and got him on campus last weekend for an official visit.
Unfortunately for the Tide, they were not able to pull Farmer away from the Gators’ grasp. After Farmer’s decision, Alabama will remain with three offensive line pledges in Tyler Booker, Elijah Pritchett and Dayne Shor. Booker and Shor enrolled at the University of Alabama earlier this month and are taking classes.
