Coker took part in Alabama’s pro day March 9.
“(It is) just one more opportunity for him to throw for scouts, and to get a little bit more on film,” his peronsla coach, David Morris, told SECcountry.com. “He’s a competitor — it was his idea. He’s familiar with some of the South Alabama receivers that are graduating. They’ve been working with us down here in Mobile a little bit.
“It’s one of those things where it’s one more opportunity to show what you can do in front of people who are scouting you.”
Coker was not invited to February’s NFL Scouting Combine and made news when he said he was “pissed off” that he wasn’t asked to participate.
