As the head football coach at the University of Alabama, Nick Saban recruits talent from everywhere.
Sometimes, the best athletes come from small schools. In 2008, Saban’s first major signing class had Michael Williams from Pickens County High School in Reform, Ala. Pickens County is a Class 1A school, but it prides itself on winning championships.
Williams became a three-time BCS National Champion (2009, 2011-12) and two-time Southeastern Conference Champion in five years with the Crimson Tide. After winning a Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, he returned to his high school Alma mater to coach football.
