Jacksonville running back T.J. Yeldon is ready to step in for Leonard Fournette again when the Jaguars face the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday afternoon.
The No. 4 player picked in the 2017 NFL Draft and a 1,000-yard rusher last season, Fournette left Jacksonville's season-opening game with a hamstring injury. After sitting out two games, Fournette was thought to be good to go last week. But he didn't make it through the first half.
The Jaguars have declared Fournette out for Sunday's game, putting Yeldon back in the RB1 spot for Jacksonville.
Despite Fournette's in-and-out season, the Jaguars have a 3-1 record, with Yeldon running for 205 yards and one touchdown on 49 carries and catching 14 passes for 125 yards and two TDs.
