T.J. Yeldon and Corey Grant appear to be the initial choices of the Jacksonville Jaguars to serve as Leonard Fournette's running mates in the NFL team's backfield after the Jags released Chris Ivory on Friday.
Ivory was coming off a 1,000-yard rushing performance in the 2015 season with the New York Jets when he signed a five-year, $32 million contract with Jacksonville.
In 2016, Ivory divided the ball-carrying duties with Yeldon and ran for 439 yards and three touchdowns on 117 carries. In 2017, the Jaguars used the fourth pick in the NFL Draft on LSU running back Leonard Fournette.
