Alabama coach Nick Saban made at least $712,000 through various investments, commissions and salaries, paperwork filed annually with the Alabama Ethics Commission and obtained by AL.com shows.
Among Saban’s 2017 filings was a payment “in the $50,000-$150,000 range” from the Baltimore Ravens Limited Partnership.
AL.com reported that Saban, who turned 65 in October, triggered a retirement payout from the franchise for his tenure as a defensive coordinator (1991-94) under Bill Belichick when the Ravens still were the Cleveland Browns, before a move to Baltimore.
Saban’s other payments reportedly were “more standard” compared to his previous annual filings.
