In his first decade in the NFL, safety Roman Harper played in 140 regular-season and 13 playoff games, and he started all but four of them. This season, the former Alabama standout has played in 13 games with the New Orleans Saints and started two of them.
As the end of his 11th NFL season approaches, has the time come when Harper will consider retirement?
"We'll see," Harper told Christopher Dabe of nola.com. "I'm not saying either way. Now is not the time."
The time will come after the season, and Harper said he planned to pray about the decision.
