Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver, DeVonta Smith may be on the cusp of making football history this Sunday in Super Bowl LVII.
With a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, the former Alabama standout has the opportunity to join college football hall-of-fame legends Tony Dorsett, Marcus Allen, Charles Woodson, and Reggie Bush as just the fifth player in history to successfully collect a National Championship, Heisman Trophy and NFL Super Bowl. Smith would be the first player to accomplish this feat in a seven-year span.
Smith acknowledged what it would mean and how incredible it would to be to clinch football’s triple crown in his home state of Louisiana, while in a recent interview with NBC Sports Philadelphia reporter, John Clark.
