Don’t tell Alabama and Auburn the Iron Bowl doesn’t mean anything this year.
While the Tide have already clinched the SEC West, Alabama's perfect season and No. 1 ranking are on the line when these two rivals meet Saturday afternoon in Tuscaloosa.
The last time Alabama played Auburn as the nation's No. 1 team, the Kick Six happened. But that game was at Auburn and, according to ESPN Stats & Information, Alabama is 32-2 all time at home as the AP's top-ranked team, including 6-0 this season.
There's also this: Alabama, winner of two straight against Auburn, hasn’t won three in a row in the series since 1992.
