The Cincinnati Bengals kicked off Week 2 of the NFL's 2018 season with a 34-23 victory over the Baltimore Ravens in an AFC North game on Thursday night.
Twelve players from Alabama high schools and colleges got on the field during the game. But the performances that they turned in were overshadowed by injuries suffered by former state stars on Thursday night.
Baltimore middle linebacker C.J. Mosley (Theodore, Alabama) played only the opening series for the Ravens' defense. After the three-time Pro Bowler was carted to the locker room, the Ravens announced at halftime that Mosley had suffered a bone bruise to his knee and was doubtful to return.
