Oakland wide receiver Amari Cooper set a career high with 138 receiving yards in the Raiders' 34-31 victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday.
But he came within inches of having an even bigger game. Cooper caught three passes in the end zone that didn't result in touchdowns. On two, the former Alabama All-American was ruled to have only one foot inbounds at the time of the reception.
On the other, Cooper caught the ball inbounds, the back judge threw down his hat and penalty flag virtually at Cooper's feet, the penalty went against the Chargers – and Cooper didn't get a touchdown.
