Alabama football will not have a veteran piece in its defensive secondary for a while.

Keon Sabb, a transfer safety from Michigan, has been playing on a broken foot for the Crimson Tide.

He went down last week against Tennessee and Bray Hubbard replaced him.

The second-year defensive back from Mississippi is expected to start in Sabb’s place at free safety, but are other players being moved around in the secondary? Kalen DeBoer hinted to this as a possibility on his Wednesday “Hey Coach” radio show.
