Alabama football’s new offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb is tweaking the offensive system Kalen DeBoer has in place in Tuscaloosa.
Grubb returns to coach under DeBoer like he has done at multiple spots in the past. Grubb’s return has been welcomed by Alabama’s coaches and players.
Germie Bernard is one of the few Alabama players, who have played under Grubb in the past.
The Alabama wideout recently gave a brief overview of how Grubb is operating a DeBoer offense.
“He didn’t come in and just change the whole system around,” Bernard said. “There is a system in place that coach DeBoer has put in and, each offensive coordinator kind of puts in their own little inputs, but for the most part, it’s really the same.
