Last weekend, a handful of Alabama players took time to visit and spend time with a kid named Will who is currently battling cancer. The trip was orchestrated by Alabama outside linebacker Qua Russaw and the kid’s father.
During the trip, the players were able to bond and create lifelong memories with the kid.
On Friday, Russaw was asked by the media about the experience and the opportunity to do something so special for a family from a close community.
“We went down there. It was amazing man. I say like my favorite part about being there was not like bringing him stuff.
