Running back T.J. Yeldon found the going tough in his inaugural NFL action on Friday night, but he still scored his first pro touchdown.
Jacksonville's second-round draft pick out of Alabama, Yeldon missed the Jaguars' first two preseason games after spraining the little finger on his left hand during an intrasquad scrimmage. On Friday night, the former Daphne High School star started at running back in Jacksonville's 22-17 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Yeldon finished with 10 yards on eight carries, but the Jaguars scored touchdowns on both of the series that he played, converting all seven of their third-down snaps on their way to a 14-0 lead.
