The brotherhood of Alabama football runs deep through the good and bad.
Alabama fans were hurt three weeks ago upon hearing the news of Khyree Jackson’s tragic death.
The former Crimson Tide defensive back died on July 6 in a car accident in Maryland. Jackson was selected in the fourth round of this recent NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings after having a breakout season in 2023 for the Oregon Ducks. He played two years with the Tide in 2021 and 2022, assisting the program to a Southeastern Conference Championship in 2021.
Jackson was a teammate of Dallas Turner in college and were about to do damage together in the pros for the Vikings, until Jackson’s unfortunate passing.
